Our Past State Commander Mitch Rubenstein passed away very unexpectedly earlier this week. Mitch was from the Shenandoah Valley and very supportive of the VFW Posts in our area. He was a retired CSM in the Military Police and devoted to helping and supporting veterans. Rest easy Commander!

Hey everyone don’t forget about our 9/11 memorial service on Sept. 13,2025 4-6pm in our barn/flag field. Remember 100% of our money raised all season goes to local fire/ems/sheriffs department and vet groups. Come out for an amazing service.

The Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) is now accepting entries for its 79th annual Voice of Democracy and Patriot’s Pen youth scholarship competitions. The 2025-2026 theme asks America’s students “How Are You Showing Patriotism and Support for Our Country?”
