Welcome to SACRA! We are glad that you are here and
we will help to the best of our abilities! Due to COVID-19, we have had to make adjustments to our procedures when working with clients.
At this time, we are assisting clients with food and eviction notices only.
If you are in need of food and hygiene items, please come to SACRA on Wednesdays from 9:00-11:30. A list of available items will be given and
a volunteer will bag your items and hand them to you at the door.
If you have an eviction notice, please call the SACRA office at (540) 886-3957
and leave a message including your name and phone number. A volunteer will call you back to schedule a time for you to come in and discuss your situation. When you come in, you must have a copy of your eviction notice, your lease, and your landlord’s contact information (a name and phone number). We will call your landlord for verification so you may want to let them know that we will be contacting them. When you come into SACRA for your appointment, please wear a mask. If you do not have a mask, one will be given to you.
As you know, SACRA has limited funds. We encourage you to have a conversation with your landlord regarding your situation. We always appreciate your own contribution towards the eviction.
At some point in the future, we will begin assisting with utilities; however,
not at this time.
