Super Bowl 2009! We have had a previous posting for Super Bowl 2009 but for some reason we had 60 that were filed in the wrong place. Loved those Super Bowl Parties!

Servant Sale 2009. We had a spaghetti lunch for the church (at a nominal fee) and then had a sign up bid for people to rent students for 4 hours. Here are some pix of the students (and a few crazy adults) for that event.

World Changers 2009 pt 2. Crew Shots!

World Changers 2009. During Spring Break we took a crew (40+?) to Birmingham AL to serve others in rehabbing homes. Broke us up into different crews with students from other churches. I had been doing World Changers mission trips since 1994. Went on or set up for my church about 25 over the years. Powerful experiences for the youth and adults that went. This posting we had arrival, send off and misc pix. Next time we will have crew shots.

Super Summer 2008! We had busy summers at FBCRR. We had youth camp, choir tour, mission trip (World Changers), helped with VBS and we had . . . Super Summer. Super Summer was kind of a discipleship level youth camp. It was not for all of your group. But we did take a solid core of students (and a pretty good chunk of students). This year I think that we were at East Texas Baptist University.

Spring Retreat 2008 Pt 2. We went to Palacios for the weekend. Our own youth praise bands led the worship and I spoke about "Dare to Share". Great weekend. Miss those days!

Spring Retreat 2008 Pt 1. We went out to the Baptist Retreat Center in Palacios TX on the Gulf Coast. We handled pretty much everything. I think that I spoke and emceed while we had a conglomeration of a praise band from the two that we had. Loved this weekend with you guys. Pt 2 coming in 2 weeks.

Class of 2009! We would make Graduation Recognition Sunday special. Only down side is that HS and College grads were asked to attend all 3 services so that everyone could see them recognized. And then we took them out for a nice lunch. This was my last class to recognize as a youth pastor. Means a lot to keep up with you guys!

Uber Bowl 2008 pt 2. I think this year had to be my favorite because we had the best inflatables and games that year. I think about those Super Bowl parties every year and I do miss them.
