We had a FANTASTIC day of Early Learning Education today.

We were proud to host 150 Early Educators at the Statesville Civic Center for a day of training in Conscious Discipline with our trainer Kim Hughs!

Our day started off with a warm welcome by our LIFESPAN CEO Ken Fuquay!

Later we had a fantastic meal catered by Amanda Sharpe of Sharpe's Cafe on Crawford. What a treat!

A special thank you to Mary Parr our Senior Director of Early Education for all of the organizing and behind the scenes arranging! This day would not have happened without you.

Also a special THANK YOU to the United Way of Iredell County !

THANK YOU to all of you wonderful Early Educators who attended today. We are very blessed at LIFESPAN Early Learning Center to have celebrated two staff this summer with 20th work anniversaries!

On July 26th we celebrated the 20th anniversary and retirement for Ms.Carolyn! Ms.Carolyn came to us 20 years ago after a long teaching career in the school system. She has been such a vital part of our NC Pre-K and LIFESPAN Early Learning Center Family for so long. Her retirement is well deserved and earned. She will always be a part of our LIFESPAN family.

This week we celebrate the 20th anniversary for Ms.Chandra! Ms.Chandra is our well known, "baby whisperer". There are not many infants and 1 year olds that haven't had the joy of a cuddle, rock, and care in the arms of Ms.Chandra once they enter our doors. She is very beloved by all of us, and very sought out for our infant room placements.

We want to celebrate these two ladies and the dedication of working with us for 20 years and providing quality education to the children you serve.

As an educator, it has been a pleasure to learn from you both!

Summertime Visit from the Ice Cream Truck for this wonderful group of children!

A special thank you to La Deliciosa for stopping by with the ice cream truck!

La Deliciosa is a family run business. All 5 of their children were taught at LIFESPAN Early Learning Center! This young man is the oldest and was with us 16 years ago when he was 4!!!!!!

We love our community and watching these young children grow up and come back to visit to do such special things!
