To provide acoustic roots music that resonates with people, and educates younger listeners. Piedmont Folkways is designed to do more than preserve this music, it’s a way to keep it alive! Guest artist performances, background research, and telling the stories of those early musicians and song collectors, like The Delmore Brothers, Bill Monroe, Reverend Gary Davis, The Carter Family, Elvis, Flatt and Scruggs, and Doc Watson, is how we will share the music. Get into the Halloween spirit early with a special, spine-chilling evening of music as PaddyaK takes the stage at Piedmont Folkways for a journey into the dark side of traditional storytelling!

Perfect for the month of October, "Murder and Mayhem – Tales of Destiny and Demise" features some of PaddyaK's favorite songs to sing—telling horrible stories with a straight face and sometimes even a happy melody.
