If you would like to donate to our organization but don’t want to buy a butt or are unable to come help us cook please reach out we are a 501C3 tax exempt organization that can provide you with a letter to write off your donation.

If you can’t make it out to help cook we can always use donations of snack foods or appetizers for our volunteers to have when they get hungry! They can be dropped off at the FOP 239 Wing Drive or let us know and we can either meet somewhere or possibly pick up.

Monday the fun begins please be in constant prayer for this event.

Schedule for Thanksgiving Week:

Happy Thanksgiving!!

It’s that time of year again! I have laid out a schedule for Thanksgiving week. If you know of any times you know you will be there, please reach back out to us on Facebook or reach out to me at [email protected]. If not feel free to come out whenever you can. Plenty of things going on all week!!

Monday 24th 12pm-5pm

Set-up Grills, finish any last-minute grill maintenance,
Pick-up first round of butts, Make the first round of rub
Pull out coolers clean & wash (Can run into Tuesday)
Get turkeys if still frozen & put into tubs, If not will get Tuesday at noon
Get Propane
Last minute shopping
Tuesday 25th All day

6-7 am: Load first round of butts
Get second round of butts & mac & cheese
Make 2nd round of rub
Keep kitchen clean wash dishes coolers ext.
4-10pm: Unload & reload grills
Wash rest of coolers
Wednesday 26th All day

Sold butt pickup all day
6-10am unload grills
12-4pm Clean grills (ROTC)
Keep kitchen clean wash dishes coolers ext.
12-4pm Prep Thanksgiving dinner
11pm-7am cook thanksgiving dinner
Refill Propane Tanks as soon as all grills are empty
Thursday 27th 7am -10am

7:30-9am Prep & pack meals
9-10 Load and deliver meals (Sign-ups for delivery that day)
Keep kitchen clean & straighten up
Clean coolers & put away
Clean & put away grills

We will have a volunteer meeting on Nov.9th in preparation of our Thanksgiving week cookings. Please plan to attend this meeting for all the details!

Boston Butts are now on sell! We can only cook a certain number so if you would like to purchase one please let us know. All proceeds will go towards the Thanksgiving meals. Butts are $40.00 for one or three for $110.00.
We are thankful to be in partnership with the FOP!

Thank you to everyone that came out yesterday to support the Bailey and Everhart families. Thanks to all the bakers. The desserts were amazing! Thank you to all that have prayed! Both boys helped prepare for the event and were at the event yesterday. They were overwhelmed with all the support. They could not believe everyone was there for them!

Please continue to pray for these boys. They are still healing from this awful accident.

Don’t wait! Get your tickets! Plates can be picked up Saturday between 11-3 pm at Troutman Middle School. Please help support these boys and their rode to recovery.

We are in need of desserts to go along with the plates. We request no refrigerator or frozen desserts please. We are also requesting that the desserts be individually wrapped. Desserts can be dropped off at Troutman Middle School Friday until 3:00.

If you would like to serve we will start preparing food Friday afternoon. Butts will be put on the cooker at 6:00 pm and come off Saturday at 6:00 am. All of this will take place at the FOP 239 Wing Dr. Statesville.
