A picture from the past. September 2005. Katrina had devastated New Orleans. Pack 630 set up a collection point at Friendship UMC for folks to drop off. Cash and checks were also collected. The supplies where taken to Tilley Harley Davidson, who had a truck going to New Orleans and the money was presented to the Red Cross office in Statesville. Here, Lydia Bare accepts the check from then Cub Scout Seth Williams. Me, I still had dark hair.

Scout Sunday followed by Blue & Gold Banquet is next Sunday, 12 Feb 2017. Scouts will need to be in the sanctuary around 10 - 10:30 Sunday morning.

Okay, we have movie night coming up Saturday, Nov 19. Normally, this would be the night we turn in popcorn orders, but this year is different. Still, we have a list of movies called out at Thursday's meeting. They are: Star Wars, The Minions**, Jurassic World, and a couple more I could not catch clearly. We watched Jurassic World last year, so we need to vote between Star Wars - Force Awakens and The Minions. Cub Master chooses Minions. What about you? Remember, there will be little ones there.
