Brothers,

Let's crush it for these brothers in our District.

Brothers Aidan Cowan, Clay Rowland and Holden Lewis from the Lambda-Xi chapter lost their home and possessions last night in a house fire. Thankfully these brothers along with their two dogs made it out safely. They are currently seniors at Georgia College and State University and could use your help.



A GoFundMe page has been established to help them replace essentials and recover what they can from scratch.

Brothers,

On September 11, 2001, the world changed in an instant. For those who are old enough to remember, that day still lingers in our minds. For those who were too young or had yet to be born, the legacy of that tragic day lives on.

Among the 2,977 souls lost in the attacks, Kappa Sigma lost six of our own. Today, please take a moment to remember these Brothers and all those who perished during this devastating moment in our history.

In our darkest hour, courageous first responders rushed into the Twin Towers and the Pentagon in Virginia, risking everything to save lives. The heroic men and women aboard United Flight 93 made the ultimate sacrifice by diverting their hijacked plane, preventing it from being used as a weapon of mass destruction.

Today, Kappa Sigmas across the United States and Canada unite to remember those we lost and honor our heroes. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our Brothers serving as first responders in our communities. We encourage each of you to take a moment to reflect on the significance of this day and to recommit yourselves to "A Greater Cause": the service to others. Let us not allow this day to pass without taking meaningful actions to express our gratitude to our first responders, to remember those we have lost, and to safeguard our values and the freedom of people everywhere.

Brothers and KZ Alum,

During Kappa Sigma First Responders' Day, we honor and remember those impacted by the tragic events on September 11, 2001, including the loss of six Kappa Sigma Brothers. On September 11, 2025, Kappa Sigmas across North America will join together to thank the first responders serving in our communities and honor those who have died in the line of duty.

On September 11th, each Kappa Sigma Chapter and Colony is asked to:

Participate in, or organize, a local event to commemorate the heroic actions of our first responders on September 11th, 2001.
Bring your local first responders (police, fire, hospital workers, etc) food (dessert items, pizza, etc.) to their station(s) on September 11th.

Deliver a handwritten card signed by the EC or Chapter to thank them for their service and take a photo with them, if possible.
Log 5 AGC hours per member who participates.

Document your actions, post to social media using , and tag and .

Through your efforts during Kappa Sigma’s First Responders' Day, you are showing respect and appreciation to those who serve our communities, and working together to strengthen the bonds of our Brotherhood. Together, Kappa Sigma will set an example, which some may equal, but none excel.
On behalf of the A Greater Cause Commission and the Supreme Executive Committee, I look forward to seeing the good works of Kappa Sigmas everywhere as we stand in solidarity with our first responders!

What an incredible Alumni Night during Kappa Sigma Fall Rush 2025! It was truly a joy to reconnect with so many familiar faces at 115 Olympic Blvd. The camaraderie and memories shared reminded us of the strong bonds that Kappa Sigma fosters.

We are thrilled about this year’s pledge class and can’t wait to see the amazing contributions they’ll make to our brotherhood. Best of luck to all the new pledges on their journey ahead! Here’s to the future! 🎉💚

**Welcome to the Kappa Zeta Alumni Association Official Page!**

We're thrilled to announce that in August 2025, a group of dedicated Kappa Zeta alumni came together to establish our own freestanding entity. This association is formed by the incredible brothers of the Kappa Zeta Chapter of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity at Georgia Southern University.

Our mission is to support, promote, and enhance the successes of our fraternity both locally and nationally. We believe in the strength of our brotherhood and the positive impact we can make together.
