What's an Amtryke? ⭐

So glad you asked! It's an adaptive tricycle for riders who aren't able to use a traditional bike. Each one costs between $1,000 and $2,000, and AMBUCS gives them to families at no cost.

Local therapists help find the kids and adults who need one and make sure every tryke fits just right.

Congratulations to our 2026 scholarship recipient, Morgan Haymons! 🎉

Morgan is a graduate student at the University of Georgia pursuing a career in speech-language pathology. When asked why she chose this field, she shared:

“I have been called to the field of speech pathology because I love making human connections, and it warms my heart seeing people meet their goals, learn, and grow! Being an SLP allows me to serve others in so many different ways, and I also love how broad and versatile the field is. I am so excited to learn and experience all things speech pathology throughout graduate school and figure out where my passions lead me.”

We are so excited to support Morgan as she continues her journey toward becoming an SLP! Congratulations, Morgan! We can’t wait to see all that you accomplish! 💙

Come do an Amtryke fitting with us! 🚲✨

Amtrykes are adaptive tricycles customized to meet each rider’s unique needs! Every evaluation is completed by a PT or OT to ensure the best possible fit. During an Amtryke fitting, we take measurements and assess things like grip strength, trunk control, balance, and more. We then recommend and apply the appropriate adaptations to help each rider safely and successfully enjoy their Amtryke.

This little cutie will soon be the proud owner of his very first Amtryke, and we can’t wait to watch him make memories on his new ride! ❤️💙
