Today, we proudly recognize and thank Freeport Transportation for becoming a Black Level Sponsor of the 2026 Juneteenth Bulloch Music & Food Festival.
What makes this partnership even more meaningful is the story behind the company. Freeport Transportation was built from the ground up by its owner, who started behind the wheel himself. Through hard work, dedication, and a vision for growth, the company expanded—and when it came time to hire its very first driver, that opportunity was given to an African American driver.
That decision wasn’t just about filling a position; it was about creating opportunity, investing in people, and helping open doors within an industry where representation matters.
The story of Freeport Transportation reflects the values we celebrate during Juneteenth: perseverance, progress, opportunity, and the belief that when one person succeeds, they can help create opportunities for others to succeed as well.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Dennis and Ginger Willis and the entire Freeport Transportation family for their generous support. Your investment in our community helps us continue educating, inspiring, and bringing people together through the Juneteenth Bulloch Music & Food Festival.
🖤❤️💛💚 Thank you, Freeport Transportation, for being a Black Level Sponsor and for helping move our community forward—one opportunity at a time.
