Honoring Jim by providing scholarships to athletes and financial aid to families affected by cancer

A breast cancer diagnosis brings enough uncertainty. Worrying about how to pay the bills shouldn’t have to be another battle.

Beyond medical bills, families may face missed paychecks, transportation expenses, and the everyday expenses of keeping a household running.

The Simmons Strong Foundation believes families deserve support beyond the treatment room. We provide financial assistance to families in Bulloch and Effingham counties experiencing hardship because of a cancer diagnosis — helping with necessities like food, rent, and transportation.

This October, let’s raise awareness not only for breast cancer, but also for the financial burden cancer can place on an entire family.
