Your son deserves friends he can grow with, mentors he can turn to, and a place where he genuinely feels he belongs.

ROOTED is a year-round brotherhood at UMMA Center for Muslim boys ages 13–17.

This isn’t another Islamic class or weekly lecture.
It’s a consistent place for boys to hang out, eat together, talk about real life, play, build skills, strengthen their faith, experience new things, and grow alongside mentors who actually get to know them.

🛠️ DISCOVER & DEVELOP
Hands-on projects, sports, podcasting, creative experiences, team challenges, outings, service, and practical life skills. Try new things, discover strengths, take responsibility, and learn to lead.

💬 FAITH & REAL LIFE
A space to talk honestly about faith, friendships, school, social media, challenges, and growing up Muslim in America. Ask real questions, pray together, and explore how Islam guides everyday life.

🤝 MENTORSHIP THAT’S PERSONAL
Trusted Muslim mentors get to know each boy—his interests, strengths, struggles, and goals—and are there to listen, encourage, challenge, and guide him.
We want every boy to be able to say:
“These are my people. Someone listens to me. I have something to offer.”

HOMESCHOOL DOESN’T HAVE TO MEAN HOME.

Give your child the flexibility of homeschooling with a place to learn, build friendships, strengthen their deen, and grow into an independent leader.
NEXGEN Homebase is a weekday homeschool space at UMMA Center for youth ages 10–17.

Students bring their own school or homeschool academic curriculum and work through it at their own pace, while Homebase gives them the structure, environment, community, and additional Islamic learning that can be difficult to create at home alone.

Along the way, students have access to:

🌱 LITTLE EXPLORERS — A PARENT-LED MUSLIM HOMESCHOOL CO-OP
You homeschool. We build the village around you.
Little Explorers is a weekly homeschool co-op at UMMA Center for families with children ages 3–5.
It’s a place for our little ones to play, learn, create, make friends, and grow together — while giving homeschooling parents a community to do it alongside.
And this isn’t a drop-off class.
Parents stay, participate, and help bring the co-op to life. Families take part in activities together while UMMA Center provides the space, structure, themes, and basic materials.

We’re searching our community for young voices with something real to share.
Maybe you can recite Qur’an beautifully. Maybe you can talk soccer for hours. Maybe you’re great at storytelling, interviewing people, explaining tech, gaming, teaching a language, making people laugh, or breaking down something you know really well.
Or maybe you have an idea we haven’t even thought of yet.
We want to hear it.
This isn’t a class. You don’t need podcast experience, and you don’t need to have everything figured out.

منذ زمن، راودتنا فكرة أن يكون للقراءة طاولة نجتمع حولها؛ كتبٌ مفتوحة، وقهوة، وحديث يمتد بين الأدب والفكر والثقافة… حديث لا نستعجل نهايته.

ومن هنا يبدأ SALON — الصالون الثقافي النسائي في UMMA Center لقاءٌ شهري نقرأ فيه الحياة من أكثر من نافذة.

في كل لقاء، نختار سؤالًا واحدًا يستحق التأمل، ونضع حوله خمسة كتب تقترب منه من زوايا مختلفة.

لن نقرأ جميعًا الكتاب نفسه؛ فلا نريد للقراءة أن تُحاصر بصوت كاتب واحد، ولا لرؤية واحدة أن تختار للجميع.

اختاري الكتاب الذي يوقظ فضولكِ، واقرئيه، ثم تعالي إلى الطاولة بما تركه فيكِ: فكرة، سؤالًا، دهشة… أو حتى اعتراضًا.

سنقرأ، ونصغي، ونسأل، ونتفق ونختلف؛ بعقلٍ مفتوح ومرجعيةٍ حاضرة، لنرى السؤال الواحد حين يمر عبر كتب وعقول وتجارب مختلفة.

Friday nights are about to feel different. 🧡

Introducing UMMA Friday Night, a weekly space where young people can play, connect, pray, build friendships, meet mentors, and feel at home at UMMA.

This is not another class. It is a place to belong.

The launch night will include:
🎮 PlayStation
🎨 Art and creative activities
🏆 Boys vs. Girls Jeopardy
🎯 Games and team challenges
🍽️ Food and refreshments
🕌 Maghrib and Isha together
Activities will be organized for each age group:
• Early Learners: Ages 4–6
• Growing Minds: Ages 7–10
• Middle School: Ages 11–13
• High School: Ages 14–18
