Today fellow Bucks Business Network members attended the Staten Island Remembers event at the 121 precinct for their 10th event honoring Staten Island officers that made the ultimate sacrifice. 111 names were read with some families sharing stories. 111 officers since 1922!It truly is a humbling experience. Thank you Sal Sottile, Jerry Amerosi, Marlene Marko Boyd, Denise Henick and Bob Cutrona for carrying on their memory. It important friends and families to continue to do so. It was also nice to see many Bucks members sponsor the event and be in attendance.

Thursday, the Bucks Business Network visited Kills Boro Brewing Company. Great place, food was delicious, the variety of taps was pleasing and atmosphere was outstanding and of course the company and conversations were on point.

This morning at the Bucks Business Network weekly meeting we had the privilege of having Jack Funeri of the Tunnel to Towers Foundation. He spoke of the history of the foundation. How family and friends came together to make a difference and The foundations mission.
I like to think good comes from all things, this one is a difficult one, but without foundations like T2T, which was started from a horrible event, the good folks in our community, our military, our first responders, wouldn’t get the assistance they deserve.
Many members spoke of their memories and experiences of that most unforgettable, unforgivable day. Regardless of who you pray to, tonight and tomorrow say a prayer to them and take a moment to remember those that we lost all that suffer in silence.
Friends please, this is the 24th anniversary of 9-11, we must never forget. NEVER!
Go to an organization like T2T and or others and help them help others.

Past president Rich Grado spoke today and provided the Bucks an opportunity to test two of their latest headphones. I have to say, even my tone deaf ears found listening to music on them to be an amazing experience. Rich spoke of product, sales, production and the team behind it all.

Grado Labs was founded in 1953. Straight out of Brooklyn NY, this family business has set the standard for the industry. Rich spoke on the start of the company when his Uncle Joseph first started. The legend continued into the 1990’s with his brother John leading the way. In 2023 Rich stepped into a leadership position that has seen Grado launch 2 new award winning headphones. I envision more to come.

What a night, past president and friend to all, Jerry Amerosi and his sons, Gerald and Peter invited the Bucks Business Network to a private opening of the all new Gerald Peters.
