🇺🇸 Happy Flag Day! 🇺🇸

Today we celebrate the Stars and Stripes, a symbol of the courage, sacrifice, and enduring spirit that have united Americans for nearly 250 years.

As we honor our nation’s flag, we invite you to visit our Field of Flags display (70 Satterlee Street), a moving tribute to the men and women who have served and sacrificed for our country. Each flag stands as a reminder of the freedoms we enjoy and the patriots who helped secure them.

Our Field of Flags will remain on display through July 4, 2026. We hope you’ll take a moment to stop by, reflect, and join us in celebrating our nation’s heritage during this special time leading up to America’s 250th anniversary.

🇺🇸 With Heartfelt Gratitude to National Society Daughters of the American Revolution 🇺🇸

As we unveil our newest exhibit, "Women of Valor: 250 Years of Women Serving Our Nation," we extend our deepest thanks to the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) for their partnership and generous support in making this exhibit possible.

As America commemorates its 250th anniversary, this exhibit shines a light on the remarkable women whose service, sacrifice, leadership, and courage helped build, defend, and preserve our Nation across more than 250 years. Their stories remind us that women have been serving our country since before there was a United States and continue to serve with distinction today.

Through DAR’s commitment to preserving and sharing American history, thousands of visitors will have the opportunity to discover the inspiring stories of these women, learn from their experiences, and better understand the vital role they played in shaping our Nation.

We are honored to partner with an organization that shares our dedication to honoring those who came before us and ensuring their legacy endures for future generations.

Richmond County Chapter held our Annual Luncheon at Lorenzo’s at the Hilton Garden Inn on Staten Island. It was a lovely day and we had the honor of inducting 3 new members to our Chapter. 2 new Members and 1 Transfer. Congratulations to Sabrina, Samantha and Beth! Welcome to Richmond County Chapter! We are so happy to have you!

Today, members of the Richmond County Chapter, NSDAR, were honored to attend and participate in the Battle of Brooklyn Chapter, Sons of the American Revolution’s ceremony commemorating Revolutionary War Patriot Joseph Palmer.

This meaningful grave marking ceremony served as a reminder of the sacrifices made by those who secured our nation’s independence and the importance of preserving their stories for future generations. As we approach the 250th anniversary of America’s founding, honoring patriots like Joseph Palmer helps keep their legacy alive and strengthens our commitment to patriotism, historic preservation, and education.

We are grateful to the Battle of Brooklyn Chapter, SAR, for hosting this special event and for their dedication to recognizing the men and women who shaped our nation’s history. The Richmond County Chapter is proud to stand alongside our fellow lineage societies in remembering and honoring our shared Revolutionary heritage here on Staten Island.
