CSI Center for the Arts is seeking an energetic cast of performers for its Fall 2026 production of the beloved rock 'n' roll musical GREASE - featuring the iconic songs audiences know and love!

Who We’re Looking For:
We are casting performers ages 18–27 to portray the students of Rydell High School.
Casting includes the show's 17 principal speaking roles as well as a singing and dancing ensemble of 8 who will bring the halls, classrooms, and dances of Rydell High to life.
Performers of all backgrounds and identities are encouraged to audition.
Audition Requirements:
Please prepare one song from Grease or a pop/rock 'n' roll song from the 1950s that best showcases your voice. Please bring sheet music in the correct key. An accompanist will be provided. Be prepared to learn a short dance combination. Comfortable clothing and appropriate footwear are recommended. You may also be asked to read scenes from the script.
Rehearsals will begin in late August and will generally be held on weekday evenings with some weekends. A detailed schedule will be provided.
Please bring a complete list of conflicts from August 19 through October 11. No conflicts will be accepted during tech week and performances.

CAST:
Danny Zuko – The charismatic leader of the Burger Palace Boys. Confident, funny, and cool on the outside, but genuinely cares for Sandy beneath his tough-guy image. Strong singer and mover.
Sandy Dumbrowski – Danny’s love interest. Sweet, wholesome, naive, cute, like Sandra Dee of the “Gidget” movies.
Betty Rizzo – The sharp-witted, independent leader of the Pink Ladies. Tough, sarcastic, and fiercely loyal, with a vulnerable side she rarely reveals. Strong singer.
Kenickie – Danny's best friend. Cocky, street-smart, and rebellious with a swagger. Dating Rizzo. Strong actor with good singing ability.
Frenchy – A lovable, bubbly Pink Lady who dreams of becoming a beautician. Warm, optimistic, and delightfully quirky. Strong comedic timing.
Marty – A stylish, sophisticated Pink Lady who loves fashion, romance, and attention from older men. Confident and flirtatious. Strong singer.
Jan – The fun-loving, energetic Pink Lady with a big personality and an even bigger appetite. Honest, humorous, and endearing. Strong comedic role.
Doody – The youngest of the Burger Palace Boys. Boyish, playful, and eager to impress. Guitar-playing is a plus but not required.
Roger – The wisecracking class clown. Full of energy, jokes, and mischief. Strong comedic singer.
Sonny – The self-proclaimed ladies' man of the Burger Palace Boys. Fast-talking, funny, and always trying to look cooler than he really is.
Vince Fontaine – Vince is the slick, charismatic television dance host. Slick, egotistical, fast-talking. A veteran “greaser.” Strong singer with commanding stage presence.
Miss Lynch – Rydell High's no-nonsense English teacher. Stern but ultimately well-meaning. Strong character role.
Eugene Florczyk – The earnest, awkward valedictorian. Intelligent, enthusiastic, and often the target of the cool kids' teasing. Strong comedic role.
Patty Simcox – An energetic, overly enthusiastic cheerleader and model student. Friendly, optimistic, and occasionally oblivious.
Johnny Casino/Teen Angel – Lead singer of Johnny Casino and the Gamblers. A polished rock-and-roll performer who entertains at the school dance. Strong rock vocalist. As Teen Angel, a singer who would have caused girls to scream and riot back in 1958.
Cha-Cha DiGregorio – A blind date. Slovenly, loud-mouthed and homely. Takes pride in being known as "the best dancer at St. Bernadette's." Excellent dancer with strong stage presence.
Plus a vibrant Rydell High ensemble of 8 singers and dancers.
