George Civic Association is a volunteer neighborhood group that provides a collective voice to issues that affect our community. By working with local officials and elected representatives, we advocate for managed growth, public safety, better transportation (especially pedestrian safety and the ferry services), cared-for public spaces, and increased recreational, cultural, and retail amenities in our neighborhood. Home of the Staten Island Ferry and the historic St. George Theatre, with views of Manhattan across the harbor, the St. George neighborhood is an active, growing community on the north shore of Staten Island.
