The Lois & Richard Nicotra Foundation provides support for non-for-profit organizations primarily located in the Borough of Staten Island and aids in the support of higher education for the children and grandchildren of the employees of The Nicotra Group, the Hilton Garden Inn Staten Island and the Hampton Inn & Suites.

❤️ We LOVE to GROW with the Staten Island Community ❤️

The Lois & Richard Nicotra Foundation supports our home Borough through grants to nonprofit groups, organizations, and schools within the Staten Island community. Today, we highlight how PS 16 Staten Island utilized their Nicotra Foundation grant.

P.S. 16 students began composting, collecting worms, and planting seeds in their new greenhouse. Through this hands-on experience, students are able to learn about gardening and sustainability.

The Nicotra Foundation thanks each organization for making a DIFFERENCE in the community we LOVE. Nurturing young minds and local gardens are another reason to LOVE Staten Island. ❤️

We LOVE Educators! 📚❤️

This month, the UFT - United Federation of Teachers and United Activities Unlimited, Inc. hosted their annual Back-to-School BBQ, bringing together students and families for an afternoon filled with backpacks, school supplies, valuable resources, food, activities and fun! 🎒

Lois and Richard Nicotra were proud to show their appreciation for the educators who helped make this wonderful community event possible by gifting box lunches, prepared by our COMMONS café Team, to the dedicated teachers and staff who helped orchestrate the day.

Through the Lois and Richard Nicotra Foundation, the Nicotras gift LOVEducation grants of $1,000 to every elementary school on Staten Island, a $1,000 scholarship for a graduating senior at every high school, and the Hamilton on Broadway Experience, which provided 500 middle school students with tickets, T-shirts and transportation.

Thank you to our incredible educators for all you do for our students and our Community! ❤️📚

❤️ We LOVE to celebrate CREATIVITY with the Staten Island Community ❤️

The Lois & Richard Nicotra Foundation supports our home Borough through grants to nonprofit groups, organizations, and schools within the Staten Island community. Today, we highlight how Our Lady Queen of Peace School, Staten Island utilized their Nicotra Foundation grant.

Our Lady Queen of Peace created a student art gallery with color-changing lights to display student artwork. The gallery shines a spotlight on student creativity and encourages them to share their talents with the entire school community.

The Nicotra Foundation thanks each organization for making a DIFFERENCE in the community we LOVE. Creative spaces that inspire students are another reason to LOVE Staten Island. ❤️

❤️ We LOVE to spark IMAGINATIONS with the Staten Island Community ❤️

The Lois & Richard Nicotra Foundation supports our home Borough through grants to nonprofit groups, organizations, and schools within the Staten Island community. Today, we highlight how P.S.19 The Curtis School 3K-Grade 5 utilized their Nicotra Foundation grant.

P.S. 19 students participated in a puppet workshop with Scaramouches Puppet Theatre where they created their own puppets and learned the fundamentals of puppetry while bringing their unique characters to life.

The Lois & Richard Nicotra Foundation supports our home Borough through grants to nonprofit groups, organizations, and schools within the Staten Island community. Today, we highlight how Staten Island Hebrew Public Charter School utilized their Nicotra Foundation grant.

Staten Island Hebrew Public Charter School students explored new art materials and techniques, strengthening their creativity, confidence, and self-expression. From experimenting with different mediums to bringing their imaginations to life, these hands-on art projects have made a lasting impact in the classroom.

The Lois & Richard Nicotra Foundation supports our home Borough through grants to nonprofit groups, organizations, and schools within the Staten Island community. Today, we highlight how the Academy of St. Dorothy utilized their Nicotra Foundation grant.

The Academy of St. Dorothy Girl Scouts rolled up their sleeves to plant flowers, tend their garden, and help beautify their Mary Garden.
