Thoughts and prayers please 🙏🏼

It is with a heavy heart that the Coast Guard Chief Warrant and Warrant Officers Association (CWOA) reports that on 07 March 2023, CWO2 Daniel Bearden, our Chapter President of the CWOA Bahrain Associate Chapter, chartered through the Coast Guard CWOA Norfolk District Chapter tragically crossed the bar.

Daniel had been pivotal In establishing the Associate Chapter In Bahrain, and helped recruit enough CWOs to establish the Chapter. He was very dedicated to the CWO Corps.

Unfortunately, he leaves behind a loving family, to include 2 young sons. We never ended a conversation here at CWOA without talking about his sons, and what he was looking forward to the most when get got home from Bahrain.

More details will come out soon, but we are honored to know one of our CWOA Members will be helping to es**rt the body home, and we are working to ensure we have CWOs attend the services.

Norfolk Chapter Is working to set up memorial donations at this time, and we will provide that information when It is ready to go.
