The Association was formed on July 7, 1993 in response to the increase in size of the Ghanaian community in Staten Island. The organization will serve to promote unity and love within the Ghanaian community and to preserve the culture of the Ghanaian people in Staten Island. In particular, the Association will address issues of the Ghanaian immigrant community in Staten Island, and work in collabo
