Hello there! My name is Joshua Sosa, I am majoring in Psychology and minoring in Sociology. As you may also see I am also part of the ASAP program and currently an ASAP Ambassador as well! My favorite event from CAB is the Ultimate Gaming event.

I enjoy is creativity either through art, playing instruments, reading and writing stories and so much more. But most of all I love meeting and interacting with new people! As a CAB member I would love for students to enjoy their college experience and have moments interacting with one another and having fun at events.

My name is William James, I am in my second your in college, I played football for PRHS for my full four years of Highschool, I am the new Major Events coordinator for CAB, and my favorite even thus far is the ultimate gaming event, as this was the first real event I was fortunate enough to partake and help with.

If any students have any requests on what major events they want to see, hit up CAB, and don’t be hesitate to reach out to any CAB members in the office. I am here to serve and represent the campus as a whole.

Hi! My name is Alexa Solis and I’m a senior at the College of Staten Island. I’m an SLS major and I plan to teach grades 1-6 in the near future. My favorite things to do when I’m not focusing on school work is to create YouTube videos about my hair and sing! My role in CAB is “On the Road with CAB” which plans off campus trips.

My favorite CAB event is the ultimate gaming event, I love this event because it brings all the students together and it’s always so much fun. My favorite part are the raffles and just dance of course! CAB has been a wonderful experience and I’m excited to see what this year will bring.

My name is Anes Ahmed, I am currently a senior studying English (Creative Writing and Literature). I am a playwright and spoken word artist and I have performed throughout New York. My role this year in CAB is Speaker Series Coordinator, and my favorite CAB event is the Ultimate Gaming event.

I love to read books and watch shows where it emplify life lessons and give quotes to live by. Some fun acts about me is that I have published a few articles that have appeared in the Staten Island newspaper The Banner. I also performed spoken word at the PEN World Voices Festival, International Book Festival, Nuyorican Poets Cafe, The Poet's Passage, among other areas throughout the United States and abroad.

Hi my name is Hadiyah Ally. This is my third year at CSI. I am currently majoring in Business Communications with an American Sign Language Minor.

On my free time I enjoy playing Videogames, I also love to swim and play tennis. My role on CAB is Marketing Coordinator. My favorite CAB event is The Ultimate Gaming Event, it was a really awesome event. It brought a lot of people together to have a great time.

Hi my name is Nehaya Ahmad and I’m a sophomore. Some of my hobbies are doing makeup and playing sports. My favorite CAB event is the make your own cupcake event.

When I was a student I helped volunteer for CAb scents and many other organizations, it has taught me a lot of student involvements. These activities that I was involved in gave me the drive to encourage CSI students to be more involved. Therefore I joined the Campus Activities Board to be a voice for the students to hear.

My name is Gwendolyne Brown. I am CAB's Vice Chair, and my favorite event is the Ultimate Gaming. I am a Music Major, and I can juggle.

Being CAB Vice Chair will provide me with a lot of knowledge to help our csi students be more aware of our campus events. I love to answer questions and look forward to answering any you may have throughout the next semester. The College of Staten Island helped me find my passion and I’m very grateful to holding this position.

Hi my name is Mohamed Beyruti and I’m the Campus Activities board Chair and a member of CSI association and Student Government. I’m in the Verrazano Honors, in my junior year majoring in business management and minoring in accounting.
In addition, to being active and helping students enjoy there time on campus. One of my priorities is to get more students involved and to show that we care about our campus life. Please feel free to contact me with any questions, comments or suggestions regarding events for our campus.
Lastly, two fun facts about me is I went to the Oscars and sang with Katy Perry, you can find the documentary on YouTube called Once in a Lullaby. Another fact about me is I biked everywhere in Staten Island and it was a random marathon I joined.
