Two parcels to the north and west of the complex’s main building will provide a concession developer nearly six acres of open space to bring new amenities to the track and field complex.

We hosted NYS Assembly Member Robert Carroll at Ocean Breeze Park & Athletic Complex today to talk about Ocean Breeze Park and many of Staten Island’s parks, open spaces and athletic assets and the role they can play in the Assembly Member’s vision for a New York City + Lake Placid 2042 Winter Olympics. Thank you to Lauren Primerano, New York City Department of Parks & Recreation park administrator and former Assembly Member Michael Cusick, OBPA Trustee and CEO & President of Staten Island Economic Development Corporation for joining the tour.
