Our Pack 4 Cub Scouts had beautiful weather and a great time at William H Pouch Scout Camp, where they climbed a three story wall, caught a few fish, experienced a brisk autumn overnight, and engaged in camp fire follies. New friendships and life long memories were forged this weekend, good job scouts!

Scouting at Pack 4 is teaching our scouts to enjoy nature, experience the outdoors and go outside their comfort zone, whether it be outdoor life, challenging themselves or just disconnecting from the television and tablets. Please email us if you are interested in joining!

Today was a special day for our youngest Pack 4 Cub Scouts who participated in the Tottenville Flag Day parade. Those scouts learned first hand the love a community can share with community pride and community service. Maybe it was the wave or smile they shared, perhaps a flag they handed out, or just their presence in uniform. It is these important experience that shape each child to become something bigger and brighter.

I thank each of you who made it to our parade today and I hope next year to see many more of you marching side-by-side. Good job scouts!
