K Woods Foundation

The K Woods Foundation is dedicated to youth development and building community through teamwork and leadership. We aim to create opportunities for children and families to grow through a steady commitment to health, educational attainment, and human welfare. Using education and unique experiences to build trust, we create meaningful connections and maximize the resulting impact on the community.

Partnering with our local schools and community organizations this year, we were fortunate enough to distribute thousands of winter coats, toys, food, diapers and more to families in the Park Hill community. In addition to many giveaways throughout the year, we get the most joy out of our family days. Bus trips out of town to Bear Mountain State Park, where neighbors get to play sports, swim, BBQ, and relax outside of the city, are just one example of how we promote connection and unity. In addition, these events are always curated with the intention to provide resources and education as well as promote an overall healthy lifestyle. While we work towards building a healthy, united, and engaged community, our ultimate goal is the completion of a community center open to all.
