Last week our seasonal Trail Crew started but before they even hit the trail, TRTA volunteer crew leaders were already out there putting in serious work, clearing more than 250 downed trees from the Tahoe Rim Trail this season.

Now, our seasonal Trail Crew has officially started and is picking up that momentum, clearing trees, updating signage, and tackling the ongoing maintenance needed to keep the TRT open and passable for the more than 750,000 trail users who enjoy it each year.

From our volunteer crew leaders to our paid seasonal crew, this is the behind-the-scenes work that makes a trail season possible. Give them a big thank you when you see them out there, and please give crews plenty of room to work.

If you come across any downed trees or any other issues we should know about let us know at tahoerimtrail.org/report-trail-issues
