The Brothers in Freemasonry love our Fraternity, but sometimes life takes us away from the things we enjoy.
Don't let this happen to you, Brothers, your Lodges need you now as they always have, if not even moreso nowadays. And don't assume that they will always be there waiting for your return. Having said that, the Lodge is not our buildings, but rather the assemblage of good and upright men in them who gather there to engage in Masonic fellowship and camaraderie while conducting lodge business, learning and practicing the ritual, and serving in our local communities. So never assume that you don't have anything to offer. Your presence and ideas could be the critical difference between a Lodge closing/merging or alternatively thriving in our community.
Every single Brother is an asset to their Lodge. We need experienced Master Masons and Past Masters to help teach and mentor the influx of new men coming into the Fraternity. We need your passion and desire to help to ensure our Lodges grow and continue to do what they've always done to support the communities in which we operate. .
As a fellow Mason once aptly told me, we have to decide if we are going to make Masonry in our local communities a legacy or a memory...
What do you say Brothers?
