Yesterday we had another Equine therapy, a delicious lunch and Sound bath at Hero’s Ridge. It was a reflective and relaxing day for our Veterans. They focused on communication and values to bring into the next phase of life while connecting with Gunner and Cactus on our journey. These two amazing horses each in their own way help to feel grounded and guide us with their incredible ability to show us how to overcome obstacles while still being present in the moment. The Sound bath is a meditative experience of relaxing to tone to help bring our nervous systems out of a heightened survival state to a calm peaceful one. I highly encourage our Veterans to sign up and experience either of these two activities hosted by Operation Second Chance. Thank you again to Cyndi for her incredible hospitality, her dedication, making a tasty lunch and allowing our Veterans to participate.
