We're a joyful and comforting gathering of folks where you can find a place to call home. Our congregation warmly embraces all who grace our midst. We seek to live out our Biblical calling to serve Christ in all that we doโ€”at home, at play, at work, at church. As United Methodists, our congregation shares the basic tenets of the Christian faith including

the mystery of salvation through the incarnate Jesus Christ Whose life, death, and resurrection demonstrates Godโ€™s redeeming love. We believe that God is revealed through the Trinity of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We rejoice in the presence of the Holy Spirit to illuminate, sustain, and comfort. We believe that the Bible is Godโ€™s Word and is the primary authority for our faith and practice. Worship services celebrate the gifts of our congregation through contemporary praise songs, traditional hymns, collective prayers, spiritual nourishment, and joyful fellowship.

Happy 151st Birthday to Mary McLeod Bethune--American hero (and devout Methodist)!

Mary McLeod Bethune (nรฉe McLeod; July 10, 1875 โ€“ May 18, 1955) was an American educator, philanthropist, humanitarian, womanist, and civil rights activist. Mary McLeod Bethune was born in 1875 to Samuel and Patsy McLeod, the 15th of their 17 children. Although one of the youngest in a very big family, she was at the perfect age to join the nearby Presbyterian missionaries' school when it opened around 1885. Between the work everyone in the family took on, her own schoolwork, and the hoursโ€‘long commute each way, you would expect her to be exhausted by dayโ€™s end. Yet Miss McLeod still made time to share everything she learned with her family, who had no access to the same educational opportunities. For the rest of her life, she would remain an educator; her audience just expanded from her family to her class to her school, and eventually, one could argue the whole world!

What do you do today that started out as something much smaller as a child?
