SSD Eshq thinks 90° is too hot for all his gorgeous golden floof. You should never shave a Golden Retriever. They have a "double coat.” Their fur protects them against both summer heat and winter cold, while protecting their sensitive skin from sunburn and bug bites. Today, we celebrate our ambassador dog SSD KELP and his siblings on their birthday. SSD KELP is a valuable member of the Roar for More: SSD University Park Puppy Club team, conducting home visits for prospective puppy raisers and sitters and participating in community outreach events, demonstrating how trained service dogs change lives. Our puppies had a special class outing to Target this evening. They worked on a variety of cues, including sit, down, stand, stay, under, and up. They also navigated working around shopping carts, small children, public restrooms, checkouts, and dressing rooms.
