EnvironMentors is the NCSE's youth mentoring and college preparation program for underrepresented high school students across the country.

Applications for the 2024-2025 cohort are open for both our high school students and our undergraduate mentors! Accepted students will gain and strengthen important research skills, mentoring opportunities, and receive a stipend for their participation. Look at our students go! On June 3rd, our EnvironMentors cohort made Penn State proud at the EnvironMentors National Science Fair, held by the US Department of Agriculture, in Washington D.C. Our high school students and their projects won first- and second-place overall as well as the community impact award! We are so proud of this cohort and are looking forward to working with the upcoming cohort starting in the fall!
