BHARP The Behavioral Health Alliance of Rural Pennsylvania (BHARP) is the primary contractor for the North Central contract of the Behavioral HealthChoices program.

We are an alliance of 24 rural counties in Pennsylvania. The Behavioral Health Alliance of Rural Pennsylvania (BHARP) is a Pennsylvania Non-Profit Corporation that contracts with the PA Department of Human Services to provide the behavioral health-focused, HealthChoices program for Medicaid recipients (members) in the twenty-four counties we serve in Pennsylvania. BHARP subcontracts with Community

Care Behavioral Health (CCCBH), who in turn provides the coverage for our members. As part of BHARP's role as the primary contractor, we ensure that members receive proper care that is accessible in these rural counties. We also ensure that all care received by our members follows both state and federal guidelines, and is of the highest possible quality. Our organization offers resources and support for providers within our coverage area to assist them in helping members reach their full potential for both treatment and recovery.
