Marc has officially reached his fundraising goal of $20,000 before his 1-day, 100-mile, 100% human-powered bicycle ride this July!

A massive thank you to this year's ride sponsor, Stuckey Automotive, and to each and every supporter who shared posts, posted flyers, and/or donated to support Marc's efforts. Your generosity is making a difference in the lives of thousands of young people in Central PA and beyond.

All of these funds will be put to good use, ensuring that young people have access to evidence-based mental health education and vital in-school small groups that ensure at-risk kids can gain the skills needed to build resilience and thrive as they grow!

If we know one thing about Marc, it's that he loves a challenge. He's asked us to increase his goal to $22,000! Can you help him get there? Donate at janamariefoundation.org/marc!

This morning, we wrapped up our last in-school program of the academic year at Corl Street Elementary School. Students played yard games and tie-dyed with us as part of their Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) program.

We then pivoted into summer camp mode, meeting to discuss camp schedules, norms, activities, and how to best support kids who will be joining our free Explore and Explore Jr. Camps in just a few weeks. (You can still add your child to the camp waitlist via the form on our website, even though all weeks are currently full!)

A special shoutout to our neighbors at the dental office, whose patients got an unexpected bonus feature during their cleanings: a front-row view of a group of adults enthusiastically running around under a giant parachute in the parking lot.

Marc Warren's Ride for Hope is coming up in a little under a month, and he's about $700 away from reaching his $20,000 fundraising goal! Can you help him cross the finish line?

This July, Marc will embark on a 1-day, 150-mile, 100% human-powered bicycle ride from Pittsburgh, PA to Cumberland, MD. His incredible efforts allow us to offer mental health and su***de prevention education in schools all over Central PA! Stuckey Automotive is generously sponsoring the ride again this year, and we cannot thank them enough for demonstrating their support of youth mental health efforts in our community.

Donations raised leading up to Marc's ride will help bridge the $150,000 funding gap we're facing this September. The grant that has supported our in-school mental health education programs for several years is not being renewed, so our team is seeking funding to keep essential programs, like Teen Mental Health First Aid and QPR Gatekeeper Su***de Prevention, in classrooms.

If you want to ensure these programs are accessible to as many kids as possible and show Marc that you have his back, please consider donating! Visit janamariefoundation.org/marc to learn more and give today. Every gift makes a difference, no matter the size.

The event is free and family-friendly, and all donations raised throughout will be split between Jana Marie Foundation and Park Forest Middle School's Rock Band Program.

We are incredibly grateful to the event's volunteer organizers (especially BigRed ZoeMakenna) and the musicians who are donating their time to support our work!

Dropping in to add some feel-good Friday content to your feed!

Our REACH Club members recently spent time at Centre County PAWS, sharing stories and snuggles with some very attentive feline listeners. πŸ±πŸ“š

Reading to animals is a wonderful way for students to build confidence, practice compassion, and connect through kindness, and the cats seemed to enjoy the extra attention, too! We love creating opportunities for young people to support their own well-being while giving back to our community.

Thank you to Krissy, Danny, and the rest of the PAWS team for welcoming our students for this meaningful experience!
