Discovery Space of Central Pennsylvania Science Center Discovery Space is a growing science center and makerspace based in State College.

Our science center offers interactive STEM exhibits and hands-on programs in a fun learning environment. Our makerspace, The Rivet, helps our community build the skills to make or fix just about anything. Continually seeking to spark curiosity and creativity, we serve everyone from toddlers to seniors. Discovery Space of Central Pennsylvania is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.

Kids and their grown-ups will team up to create custom etched glassware and a UV resin coaster for Dad, perfect for the upcoming summer heat 🥤

We’re collecting clean, empty 2-liter plastic bottles and gallon jugs for upcoming STEM programs. If you have some at home, bring them our way instead of tossing them!

PS: We're also open Wednesday, June 10 for a PreK double feature— Miss Margot at 9:30am and Water Play Wednesday from 10am–12pm!

☀️ Discovery Space's Summer Fun Pass is BACK!

Looking for an easy way to fill summer days with hands-on fun? Curious about membership but not ready to commit to a full year? Our Summer Fun Pass is a great way to give Discovery Space membership a try.

Enjoy unlimited visits ALL summer, and stop by whenever you need a break from the heat, a rainy-day adventure, or just a place to explore, play, and learn together.

With the Summer Fun Pass, you'll get unlimited visits for hands-on STEM exhibits, up-close marine animal encounters, and our weekly Water Wednesday program (returning June 10!).

You choose:
🎟️ $50 for all 3 months (June-August)
🎟️ $25 for 1 month (June-August)

*Please note that the Summer Fun Pass does not include the ASTC Travel Passport Program, per ASTC guidelines.
