Our mission is to support children through and beyond their parent’s cancer with free, fun-filled creative programs and a lasting

community. Kesem Central PA was founded in 2013 and supports children in the central PA community by providing Camp Kesem, a free week-long summer camp experience, and year-round Through and Beyond support services. Our chapter is operated by approximately 100 student volunteers and serves approximately 70 campers ages 6-18 per year. Kesem operates at more than 130 chapters coast-to-coast. Its programs and services are all funded by generous donations from individuals, foundations, and corporate partners. Kesem is a federally registered 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization.

This week is Camp Around the Corner, our spring-push fundraising initiative.

Camp is built with a whole lot of heart, hard work, and . Behind the scenes, our student leaders are planning theme days, training counselors, organizing messy games, preparing cabin activities, packing supplies, and SO much more to make camp unforgettable. ✨
