Permias - Penn State

Permias - Penn State PERMIAS is the Indonesian Student Association. PERMIAS stands for Persatuan Mahasiswa Indonesia di Amerika Serikat.

Our goal is to create a home away from home for fellow Indonesian students and create opportunities to celebrate our culture together with the community at Penn State. It is an organization to unite for Indonesian college/university students studying in the U.S, and fellow students who share a love for Indonesia. We aim to create a home away from home environment for fellow Indonesian students by

providing them with a platform to socialize with other Indonesian nationalities studying in their vicinity. Our members gain opportunities to congregate with other Indonesians through social events, sports events and cultural events within and outside Penn State. At the same time, we wish to share and celebrate our culture with the greater Penn State community by creating social events with other student organizations as well as participating as an organization in Penn State events. We would love to participate as representatives of our country to the Penn State community, as well as represent the Penn State community in Indonesia.
