Strong communities aren’t only defined by how they respond when something goes wrong.

Through our Community Resiliency focus area, Centre County United Way supports the organizations, like Centre Safe, Centre Helps, and American Red Cross Greater Pennsylvania providing programs and resources that help our neighbors prepare for emergencies, respond when crisis strikes and recover in the days and months that follow.

From disaster preparedness and home fire response to connecting families with the resources they need during unexpected challenges, resiliency is built long before an emergency happens.

Because when our community is prepared, connected and ready to respond, we’re stronger together.

That’s the way we stay ready.

Arize Federal Credit Union is United for Centre County!

Yesterday, Megan and Jera joined the Arize team to kick off their 2026 Centre County United Way workplace campaign. Child Development and Family Council of Centre County, Inc. and The Tides Program shared how employee giving helps connect our neighbors with vital programs, resources and support throughout our community.

We are so grateful to the Arize team for continuing to show up, give back and demonstrate what it means to put community into action.
