Hi, my name's Ballou! I'm a four year old beagle from North Carolina. When Beagle 911 Refuge first took me in, I was really skinny, my fur was thin and in bad shape, and I was heart worm positive. I'm a really sweet boy, and even after everything, I just want some nice hugs and cuddles. I love going for walks and I really love leaf piles! I'm not really sure what a bowl is...it's really hard and it certainly isn't like eating off the ground, but I'm learning to like it! They're still working on my heartworm problem, but I'm gaining my weight back and have been told I'm very handsome! I just can't wait for someone to take me to my furever home!

On October 2, 2015, K-9 Kraving Dog Food of Baltimore, Maryland, announced the recall of its Chicken Patties dog food because the product has the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella and Listeria mitocytogenes.

Hi everyone . . . I'm Brice, an 8 yr old, 22 lb. neutered male beagle mix. My owner passed away and the family surrendered me to the shelter where I was very sad. Shelters are very loud and not a fun place for a good boy like me. A nice lady saved my life by taking me from the shelter in the hopes of finding a forever home for me. You see, she has doggies of her own and even a couple foster beagles, so she needs to find a forever home for me so she can help save more lives. I do have one handicap . . . I'm deaf, but I'm very keen on movements and have learned to follow my other foster siblings. My foster mom lets us out in the fenced area to go potty and when she calls us to come inside, I'm such a good boy that I follow the pack. I'm housebroken and sleep in my crate at night and also when my foster mom is away from the house.

Oh, I forgot to tell you, I'm afraid of cats, so I really want a home with NO cats.

I walk on a leash nicely, am good with other dogs, ignore the rabbits outside the fence and just love to lay in the sun or sometimes on my foster mom's lap for naps. Please consider taking an older fellow like me into your home. Love, Brice.

Hi . . . we are Cyrus and Miley (white strip down nose) and we are looking for our FURever homes - preferably together! The two of us are cute, cuddly 8-9 month old beagle pups who were purchased at a flea market as babies this past summer. We were living in a trailer park with our owner who allowed us to freely roam the neighborhood. Our neighbor threatened to do us harm and when a nice lady beagle rescuer learned about us she asked our owner if she could take us and find us good forever homes in PA where we would be loved and kept safe for the rest of our lives. Sometimes even us baby beagles don't have a very good life. So if you're looking for two sweet beagles, please put in an adoption application for one or both of us. We would love to be kept together, but we do understand if you don't have room for both of us. Thank you for your interest in us :)

My name is Blitz aka Pearl and I'm a 22 lb, 8 year old sweetheart who was "saved" by a nice lady in NC. My owner was going to put me to sleep because he no longer considered me "valuable." The nice lady asked if Beagle911 would accept me into their Rescue so she could continue saving other beagles. I walk well on a leash, like my crate, I'm not a runner or digger and I'm housebroken after living outside all my life. My hearing, sight and teeth are fine (I had dentistry 2 months ago). I love having a food bowl to call my own as my previous owner just threw food onto the ground for all of us. Please consider meeting me soon and I have a feeling you will fall in love with me. Won't you give me a chance at a great life in a FURever home??

Meet ROSIE!! Rosie is a sweet, although very overweight, lady. Rosie came to us extremely overweight and with some health issues, but that's what we're all about. She is on a diet, has had her health issues addressed, and she is ready to go to a home that will keep her on her diet. She is a very loving girl, good with other dogs and people. All of our adoptable pets live with foster families in a family environment so we know their individual temperament and personality. This helps us to match the right dog with the right family to make sure everyone lives happily ever after.
