The three local Rotary clubs represented well in the Penn State Homecoming parade last night.

Thank you again to all who donated candy and supported this effort. It was great to hear so many on the parade route yell Rotary’s name and share stories as we went by (“I went to RYLA!” and “Thanks for the grant!” as examples) and even answer questions about what Rotary is for those who asked.

Big thanks to Matt Stuckey for the donation of the truck, trailer, and the hay bales. Thanks to State College Sunrise Rotary President Mike Majewski for coordinating the truck pick up and spending his Friday in line in a field before navigating us safely through State College. Thanks to Sunrise’s Art Leach for registering the float & coordinating details behind the scenes!

Thanks State College Downtown Rotary Club for the donation of the blow-up Rotary Wheel. It helps the float stand out.

And thanks to State College Rotary Club’s Jeane Singer & State College Sunrise Pollinator club’s Melanie Miller Foster for supplying the signs.

Building bed frames, creating big smiles! 🔨😀🛏️
Today, members representing all three State College Rotary clubs joined forces with Sleep in Heavenly Peace to build handmade beds for kids in our community. Because every child deserves a safe, comfortable place to lay their head at night.
