On the road with Joy Vincent-Killian.

Pick up the October issue of State College Magazine to read a special feature on our own Joy Vincent-Killian, Centre Foundation's Director of Press Forward PA Wilds, and the thousands of miles she traveled across nine Pennsylvania counties listening to residents, journalists, and communities talk about the future of local news.

The journey was part of Press Forward PA Wilds’ yearlong community listening and research effort to better understand how people across the region get their local news, what information they trust, where gaps exist, and what they need most from local journalism. Those insights are helping Press Forward PA Wilds identify where support and investment can make the greatest difference in strengthening local news across rural Pennsylvania.

We’re proud to see Joy and this important work featured in State College Magazine. Read “On the Road with Joy Vincent-Killian” in the October issue.

As we celebrate our 45th anniversary, we’re continuing that legacy with a special 1:1 Match for the Fund for Centre County, supporting Human Services across our community. Every gift will be matched dollar for dollar, up to $225,000, through December 31.

Give to the Fund for Centre County and double your impact.
