We are hiring!

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Community Engagement Specialist to foster meaningful connections with local churches, community groups and organizations, and online.

Our goal is to make Bridge of Hope Centre County more visible in Centre County, create and/or deepen our relationships with church leaders and congregations, and recruit volunteers who are essential to our program.

It's been two weeks since Night In A Car, and we are STILL handing out badges!!

Congratulations to Mike and Lauren for continuing to raise awareness for family homelessness in Centre County. You are still going and we can't thank you enough!!

Our event is over, but our work is not!

We will keep our donation links open for a couple more weeks and give our participants some time to reflect on their experience of sleeping in their cars. Some of the feedback we heard during our debrief this morning was:
- too many bright parking lot lights
- noisy with nearby car doors opening and closing
- too hot and stuffy
- too cold and wet
- not as flat and smooth as we would like
- restful (x1)
- restless (x10, 😂)
