Executive Spotlight
This week, we’re excited to spotlight Rose Sharp, who serves as the Public Relations Executive Officer for Global Connections. Rose first became involved after hearing from a colleague that the organization was looking for volunteers and saw it as a great opportunity to become more involved in the community.
For Rose, volunteering has always been a way of life. Inspired by her family’s involvement in their community, she values connecting with people she can learn from and support. She especially appreciates how Global Connections gives people a platform to share, a place to learn, and a space to build community.
One of Rose’s favorite parts of her role is seeing the smiles and new friendships that form at events. She describes being on the executive team as a chance to learn new skills alongside people who genuinely want each other to succeed. As she puts it, “We are a small group, but we have some huge successes!”
Additionally, she is up for re-election! So make sure to stay tuned!
