The Woman’s Club of Starkville enjoyed a panel presentation called “A View from the Sidelines” at their October 6, 2026, meeting which featured a roundtable discussion with seven wives of Mississippi State University (MSU) coaches.
The panel discussion was led by Rachelle Selmon, wife of Athletic Director Zac Selmon, and featured six other MSU coaches’ wives, including Sheri Jans, Cindy O'Connor, Shannon O'Brien, Meagan Hooshyar, Meghan Purcell, and Staley Lebby.
The panel answered questions about their daily routine of managing the home and supporting their husbands and players, game day routines, the challenges of moving, how they interact with athletes, and what their experience has been living in Starkville, Mississippi.
Woman's Club members enjoyed the insights provided by the panel, and club members especially liked hearing that the panelists have had a great experience settling into Starkville and have felt extremely welcomed by everyone - even their children have adjusted and integrated well.
