Catch-A-Dream Foundation

Catch-A-Dream Foundation Catch-A-Dream grants once-in-a-lifetime hunting and fishing experiences to children age 6-18 We seek to instill a message of hope, promised in Isaiah 40:31.

Our mission is to provide not only the opportunity to “catch an outdoor dream,” but also to lend spiritual encouragement that is often so badly needed by these children and families. Hunting and fishing are opportune tools to expose these children to the “..wonders of God...” that await them in the outdoors, away from the bleak and sterile world of medical facilities, treatments and hospital gowns, but in the presence of The Creator who is the Author of real hope.

How about those teeth on Parker’s barracuda he recently caught on his fishing adventure to florida.!? Charter Fishing Venice with TNT Fishing Charters put him on the fish!
After tropical storms in the gulf delayed Parker’s trip a short time, he was finally able to head south and get some rods bent on the open water. Captain Eddies Seafood cooked up the fresh catch and provided quite a meal!

9 year old Carter is beaming behind a beautiful rainbow trout he caught on his recent fishing adventure to Little Flat Creek Ranch & the LFCR Dream Foundation. Ranch Wildlife and Operations Manager, Bradley Lueckenhoff, helped Carter land this beauty as well as a few others. Between Carter and his two siblings, the ranch was bustling with activity for a few days!

The Mississippi Sportsmen for Catch-A-Dream committee has raised the bar once again for this year’s signature raffle—A 2026 Can-Am Defender XT HD11.

6-foot seas were not enough to keep Haley from getting the most out of her day on the water with Charter Fishing Venice with TNT Fishing Charters . Despite the tough conditions, she battled fish ALL day long with a big smile on her face. A little reassurance from Capt. Tom was all she needed to give it all she had! She filled the cooler with plenty of fish to eat and also caught and released this gorgeous juvenile goliath grouper.
As an unexpected bonus, Haley and her mom were able to see their first sea turtle as it swam near the boat. Our own Family Relations Coordinator, Meg Escalante, served as our Host for Haley and her mom, ensuring all needs were met.

7 year old Greenleigh poses with her guide, Darren, and one of her "rainbow fish" she wanted to catch. Greenleigh and Darren became two peas in a pod during her time fishing and playing in Missouri. She came from Tennessee with her mom and big brother in hopes of a few firsts. When not fishing, she "hired" Darren as her personal rafting guide while she relaxed and cooled off in the cold, clear creek waters.
Our Volunteer Host, Beau Shirkey, served Greenleigh and her family as they enjoyed their week at Little Flat Creek Ranch & the LFCR Dream Foundation.

Declan, age 7, traveled from Virginia to spend a few days fishing and relaxing in the Missouri Ozarks with our partners at Little Flat Creek Ranch & the LFCR Dream Foundation. Declan accomplished a goal of "catching as many fish as possible and eating them." When the shade around the lake became scarce, that cool, spring-fed creek became the perfect solution! Our Programs Manager, Jay Hill, served as the Host for Declan and his family.

7-year-old Dyran spent two days fishing in Louisiana with Cat 5 Fishing Charters LLC. Based on the picture intel, Dyran and his little sister led the charge pulling fish in the boat while mom and dad tried their best to keep up! Over the course of two days on the water, they boated numerous speckled trout, redfish, sheepshead and several other species! Thaks to Volunteer Host, Christopher Leissner, for giving of his time to serve Dyran and his family.
