Greetings to All Gina’s Blessings Prayer Warriors, Sponsors and Supporters,

We hope this important email finds you all doing well. The ministry is as strong as ever as we now together are sponsoring 99 children, changing their lives forever.

As most of you know, nearly two years ago, Pastor Solomon’s vehicle was destroyed in a terrible flood. For nearly two years, we have been fundraising to replace his car. During this time, he has faced significant challenges with transportation for his ministry in Kenya and supporting the Gina’s Blessings children. He has been remarkably patient and faithful during this time.
With the proceeds from his damaged vehicle and the funds already collected, we have reached approximately half of our goal to replace his car. However, raising the full amount upfront for the necessary quality replacement—a rugged Toyota Land Cruiser designed for Kenyan roads—is projected to take several more years.
An ideal car has been located in Nairobi at an excellent price, far lower than previous estimates. To secure this vehicle now, we will need to finance approximately $20,000.

I am hoping and praying that together we can find the funds to allow him to purchase this vehicle. With monthly contributions totaling $400.00 from several committed sponsors, we will have enough to make the necessary monthly car payment. We expect the term of the loan to be 5 years, so this would be an extended commitment. Over the years, our Gina’s Blessings family has been very generous and faithful in times of need. This is one of those times. With that in mind, we have taken a leap of faith that we can make this happen, and Pastor Solomon is at the dealership now to negotiate the terms of the sale.

Greetings Sponsors,
We hope this finds you all well and doing fine. I spoke with Pastor Solomon this week, I and wanted to give you an update on the recent flooding that has hit Kenya. The Loita Hills region where most of our sponsored children are from was hit very hard. Virtually every road has been completely washed out making travel extremely difficult. The entire population is now relegated to traveling by foot or if they can by motor bike. The nearest town Narok normally is a 2-3 hour drive now takes 2-3 days. Pastor Solomon, remarkably has been able to make arrangements for all of our children to be back in school and they are doing well.
Unfortunately, Pastor Solomon’s car sustained extensive damage in the flood and will need major repair work or will need to be replaced. While traveling, he was caught in the flooding and had to leave the vehicle to save his life. His vehicle is critically important for his ministry and support of the children. He was only able to purchase this older Toyota Land cruiser with our help, and we may need to provide support again. He tells me that the diesel engine is not damaged and that the estimate to bring his car back to shape will be $5000. I am very excited that a very generous sponsor has offered to match all donations made after May 21 up to $1000.00. Let’s use this opportunity to really make an impact toward restoring his ability to support our combined ministries in Kenya.
