If you get the chance stop by the Library here in Star and check out the amazing scarecrow by Star Lions Club members Deborah and Tom that is on display! After that be sure to check out the scarecrow trail around the city of Star Put on by River of Hope community foundation. 24 scarecrows can be found around local city businesses.

It’s almost that time of year.

Mark your calendars and join Star Lions Club and attend this years Wreaths Across America event to help us honor our veterans by laying remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country’s fallen heroes.

That's a WRAP! On Star Lions Club 4th of July Hometown Celebration 2026!

Thank you to our wonderful community for coming out and supporting all the organizations that worked hard to put on this great event!

Thank you to the wonderful volunteers from the Star Senior center who gave of thier time to judge and taste all the pies for the pie auction and contest. The pie auction is a wonderful tradition!

Bring your STAR SPIRIT and your appetite!

Come down immediately after the Star Hometown celebration parade to the Riverhouse and join your Star Lions Club for an ol fashion 4th BBQ!

We'll be set up on the porch of the Riverhouse.

The menu:
Hot dogs
Brats
Westside pizza
Ice cold soda and water.

Join us as we celebrate America's 250th and join in the Star community celebrating this great City of Star!
