A little bit of our to-do’s over these next couple weeks. ♥️

While I might have to hold back a bit on what I’m allowed to do while in physical therapy and a recovery period post surgery, I’ll always do what I can without hurting myself.

We are looking for a couple contractors who are willing to donate their time to help mud, texture and put up dry wall. If you or someone you know has these skills, please send them our way! 🙏♥️

The more help we get now, the faster we open!

We are looking for volunteers who bring patience, professionalism, and genuine warmth to every interaction, including with families and children navigating difficult moments. We value composure under pressure, respect for every individual, and a willingness to think on your feet.

Prior experience is not required for most roles. We provide training on specific tasks and procedures. All volunteers complete a screening process, including conversations with our team and a background check, to help us expand our team and maintain a team our families can trust.

Current volunteer openings include:

Center support:
Front desk, family welcome, and facilities roles that maintain daily operations and ensure a welcoming environment.

Events and fundraising:
Support for our auction and concert for a cause, including event logistics, sponsor outreach, and registration.

Volunteer team:
Positions supporting the screening, onboarding, and scheduling of new volunteers.

Marketing and outreach:
Social media, newsletter management, photography and videography, and media relations.

The Autism House welcomes volunteers of all backgrounds, beliefs, and abilities. We ask all volunteers to engage respectfully and professionally with our staff, families, and each other.

We are so excited to get this open this fall! If you know any contractors, electricians, painters, cabinet painters, people to build shelving, tables, chairs, etc. We NEED you! With (Me) Dana on recovering from hip surgery, we need a village to get this open in time so I don’t hurt myself trying to do it on my own. 🤭 Reach out! We need you 🥰

We’re excited to begin transforming The Autism House into a beautiful resource center for our community!

If you’re a local business, contractor, or service provider interested in contributing your time, skills, or services to help bring this space to life, we’ll be meeting at the center tomorrow at 12:30 PM.

At this time, we’re not looking for general volunteers tomorrow, but we would love to connect with those who can help with the renovation and makeover of the space.
