Riverwood Nature Center Riverwood consists of 35 acres of land, with 3,000 feet of frontage along the Apple River, in Star Prairie, Wisconsin. Croix and beyond.

Riverwood Nature Center plans to own, maintain, preserve, and protect the property consisting of prime upland and aquatic wildlife habitat as an interpretive nature center and preserve open to the public. The Apple River is a 77.5 mile-long tributary of the St. Croix River and provides an important watershed to the St. Available activities will include walking trails, cross country skiing, fishing, permitted hunting, wildlife observation, and environmental and outdoor educational programing. We invite you to visit our website and learn more about opportunities to get involved in helping us create a peaceful place to escape into nature, in the heart of western Wisconsin.

As part of the Friends of the St. Croix Wetland Management District's "Seasons of Wild" photography contest, Mark Ritzinger, an accomplished local bird photographer, will lead a photography walk and talk from 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. at the district headquarters in New Richmond.
