The lakes are open and wildlife is busy! Swan photo from Irving, where there were 4 swans yesterday. Eagles nesting on Ballard on Scott’s island, and loon photo on White Birch. Loons also seen on Ballard. Hoping for more baby loons this year!

The lakes are frozen, with Ballard as of Tuesday, 11/18. (There is open water in the creeks.)The ice looks like it’s setting up beautifully for skating so we will see how it holds up with the “warmer” temps coming this weekend.
