85 years ago, they were just starting down the road to Camp Killoqua.

A lot has changed since the 1940s, but generations later, campers are still making that same journey to a place filled with friendship, adventure, laughter, and a whole lot of camp magic.

And in just over TWO WEEKS, we’re inviting everyone to make the trip back!

A summer Flashback Friday because we’re definitely not ready to let go yet. 🌲☀️

It’s hard to believe summer camp is already ending. Somehow the weeks flew by in a blur of laughter, big adventures, new friendships, crazy camp songs, funny skit nights, energetic All Camps, tasty cookouts, cozy campfires and approximately a million little moments that made camp feel like Killoqua.

We’re so grateful for all of our campers who brought the place to life, our awesome CITs (Counselors-in-Training) who jumped in wherever they were needed, and the incredible staff who poured so much of themselves into making this summer one to remember. We’re still smiling about it all.

Thanks for an amazing summer, Killoqua crew! We’ll be carrying that Killoqua magic with us all year long! 🌲🔥✨

Camp Killoqua turns 85 this year, and we’re inviting the people who helped make the magic happen to come back home.

Join us for a special Staff Alumni Overnight on September 12–13, following our Community Open House, and spend one more night under the Killoqua trees. 🌲✨

Reconnect with old camp friends. Wander familiar trails. Share stories from summers past. Sing around the campfire. Enjoy a banquet dinner, celebration fire, cabin accommodations, and pancake breakfast - and make a few new memories along the way.

Whether your last summer on staff was five years ago or fifty, there’s a place for you around the fire. ❤️

As another incredible summer begins to wind down, we’re feeling especially grateful for the amazing staff who filled Camp Killoqua with so much laughter, adventure, silliness, kindness, and magic.

Thank you for the songs sung, games played, friendships made, and the countless little moments that made this summer so special for our campers.

We can never truly thank them enough. We’ll be remembering the magic of ’26 for years to come!
