Days for Girls Stanwood-Camano Island WA Chapter We meet every First and Third Friday each month except December. Times 10 am - 12 pm. Please join us in this fun but important work.

In 2013, Days for Girls Stanwood-Camano Island joined sewers all over the world to empower menstruators to stay in school and the workplace, improving their own lives and those of their families. We’ve done this by making and distributing free, washable, safe, eco-friendly menstrual products to over 2.4 million menstruators in 44 countries. Recently, we received two grants that will allow us to extend our services for the first time to local schools, food banks, community resource centers, homeless shelters, and other places that cater to people concerned about their health, their finances, and the health of our earth. Even if you can’t sew, there are plenty of volunteer activities available to you working with the materials or helping to distribute them. Contact us at [email protected]

4 MILLION PEOPLE around the world have the information and access to menstrual health products they need because of Days for Girls Programming!!!

A female student in Borkeo, Cambodia reflected on her DfG education,

“I will share this information with my younger sisters, friends, and anyone else who is unaware. I can advise younger girls when they get their first period, explaining how to use menstrual products, maintain hygiene, and address common misconceptions. If boys ask me, I will share information with them as well.”

Together, we’ve reached 4 million.
One story at a time.
