Sunday the Preston Dwoskin's Buddy Bowl climbed to new heights as the inaugural North Cascade Youth Football League Pro-Bowl. 20 programs spanning 4 counties came together to show off the best of the NCYFL. Players elected to this game had to meet multiple criteria, not just athletic ability, but be leaders on their team and in their communities. 250 of the regions best youth came together to have an amazing day.

At The BeLegendary Movement we were blessed to be the non-profit partner of this game and raised over $12,000! Some of that will go back into Jerseys for next season, but a bulk will be put into our Scholarship Fund to provide scholarships for youth to access extra-curricular activities (such as sports and other activities) across our communities. This could be registrations or gear needed to participate - no child should be denied the opportunity to do or try something that will benefit them. The scholarship fund will also provide scholarships for uncovered mental health and substance abuse treatment. Everything goes back into our communities.

- Rob Norman, President of the NCYFL for your partnership & support, we know this event has been a long term goal of NCYFL and we were beyond excited to help make it happen!
- Justin Ward, President of Sedro-Woolley Youth Football and Cheer for hosting this great event - along with the Board at SWYFC for volunteering throughout the day to make this day amazing!
- ZiplyFiber for sponsoring our initial set of custom pro-bowl jerseys; that wouldn't have happened without you
- Washington Wolfpack - for swag bags for the kids which included a free ticket to a Wolfpack game - and for being onsite all day to help wherever needed - PLEASE go catch a Wolfpack game this spring!
- Everett AquaSox - for donating swag and raffle items for this event - you are wonderful partners to our organization! We even got Webbly out to the game - he was a hit!
- Les Schwab Tire Centers of Sedro Woolley for a great raffle item and cases of water for our players - always a great community partner
- Snohomish County Council for the proclamation for this day
- WilzDezign Photography for being onsite all day and donating your time to capture this day
- NWOA Officials for donating their time with a four man crew manning all four games on a cold Sunday in November; you are as much of a part of this journey for these players as their coaches, thank you.

To all the other volunteers, coaches and parents that made this day a success, a heartfelt thank you. It was amazing to see the level of talent and sportsmanship displayed on the field that day, cheered on by the best cheerleaders in the state!

Next year we look forward to partnering with Glacier Peak Youth Football Association to bring the Pro-Bowl to Snohomish County!

We can't wait to pour back into this community the love they poured into us on Sunday. We are getting EXCITED!!

The Preston Dwoskin BeLegendary Buddy Bowl 2025 NCYFL Pro-Bowl Games is this Sunday (11/23) at Sedro-Woolley High School! Gates open at 8am with 4 pro-bowl games with the all-stars of the North Cascade Youth Football League, and cheered on my the best cheerleaders in the region!

We’ll have raffles and giveaways from out amazing sponsors!

Stanwood High School will be buzzing as more than 700 students take part in free heart screenings in honor of Dillon Gilman on Wednesday, Oct. 1. It also means traffic around campus will be heavier than usual from morning drop-off through mid-afternoon.

Even if you’re not part of the event, please plan a little extra time, expect some congestion — and know it’s all for a great cause.

Students: Please consider carpooling, taking the school bus, or getting dropped off to help us save some parking for our guests. Thanks for showing some patience as we host this important community event.

We are excited to expand our Board of Directors at BeLegendary. We have a lot of exciting stuff happening and not enough hands on deck!

If you are passionate about youth mental health, anti-bullying and want to help make a difference we’ve linked a Board Member application below. We are looking for the right people to take this to the next level. Ideally seeking individuals with experience working with youth from a behavioral health perspective who can help shape our work. Also seeking individuals experienced with grant writing, social media and marketing/promotion. All board positions are volunteer. BeLegendary is a 501c3 non-profit.

Exciting news at BeLegendary!

After a significant amount of work and discussions we have received approval from the Stanwood-Camano School District to install a virtual mental health program for all students at SCSD! Now we begin the fundraising aspect of this project. We are seeking help from the community in addition to applying for grants. For just $15 per year per student we can provide virtual mental health coverage through our project partner Hazel Health. Our goal is to get this launched for the 2025-2026 school year. SCSD is like every other District in the State of Washington who are facing significant cuts and is underfunded on behavioral health support, especially with the increase we've seen in mental health issues with children over the last 5 years.

We are also officially launching our Scholarship Program. Through this program we will support low income families through scholarship funds for extra curricular programs and associated expenses. We will also use this fund to help families with out of pocket expenses for mental healthcare and substance abuse, including travel and associated expenses for services that require significant travel. We never want cost to be a barrier to accessing extra curricular activities or obtaining appropriate care.

Buddy Bowl 2024 was a success!

First a Huge shoutout to WilzDesign Photography for the pictures of the 2024 Buddy Bowl! You braved all the elements and they look incredible!

Second, thank you to all the volunteers who made this day possible. Special shoutouts to our Super Hero Award winners Nathan Slattery and Colton Hordyk you guys are both class acts!

Thank you to everyone who came out to support us from Mayor Sid Roberts, Judges Jennifer Rancourt, Rachel Francis and Anthony Howard and the Everett AquaSox for bringing out Webbly on a soggy day!

Thank you to all the programs who volunteered to help make this day possible: Stanwood Youth Football, Sedro-Woolley Youth Football and Cheer, AYFA Arlington Eagles. It doesn’t happen without you all!

We hope the teams all had a blast! Hopeful for better weather next year in Sedro Woolley! Excited to be bringing more communities into the fold!

Weather was tough but we were still able to raise close to $2,300 across the Buddy Bowl and the PNW Elite Football Academy Skills Camp that followed. If you are looking for very good, affordable and local football training check them out! More than anything we hope everyone enjoyed a strong community day and the kids got to enjoy a game they love doing some different things.

Such a fun annual event!

Don’t miss out on a great skills camp this Sunday follow The BeLegendary Movement Buddy Bowl at Bob Larson Stadium in Stanwood! Buddy Bowl gates open at 10am with games at 10:30 and 1pm followed by a skills camp by pnw.elite.football.academy.

$5 gate admission for the games (non-players)
$20 admission to Skills camp

Proceeds all go towards The BeLegendary Movement’s mission of building a strong community through youth development and mental health support.

Come hone your skills and learn some skills you can carry into other sports and practice in the offseason!
